Arisen from Oblivion

Hello!!! I am so sorry!!! After not blogging for a while, I totally forgot about it (don't take that personally!) Well, as shy_adam clearly pointed out, Summer is on the way... in fact Nix and myself are going out for drinks along the Thames after work - sitting outside is still a novelty!! Loads have happened since I last posted. It has been Nicky's birthday, Adrian's birthday and a few other big celebrations that called for a few drinkies!! Nicky's birthday celebration was great - we too her to a bar on the top floor of the Hilton in Park Lane - with fab views of London - and had a couple of bottles of champaign, followed by a very drunken dinner at a Moroccan Restaurant and an even drunker dance at a club in Covent Garden!!! Easter break was great! 11 of us went down to Devon for the week end.... and we stayed in a trailor park (yeah, as trailor trash!!!) Enjoyed seeing the sea again, even if the beaches are not nearly as super as those in Cape Town!!! Adrian's birthday was another great week end. We bought him a 'single seater experience' at Silverstone, driving a Formula 3000 car around the track. Adriana and myself went as spectators... and were tempted into doing a bit of driving ourselves!! We had a couple of laps in a super dooper Audi TT V6 and I reached a quick 220km per hour. We then had a passenger ride with a professional driver, which was almost as good as driving myself!!! We then went out for another drunken tequila and cocktail night out in Angel! (yeah, at load of drinking is happening!!!) Been working real hard lately... up to 19:00 most evenings... and quite stressful alot of the time, but have joined a gym across the road and punching and kicking my frustrations at being in the office, out in a few combat classes a week!!! Other than that my dears, not much to tell. Waiting for a few papers from my uncle in Germany to get my visa and then plan to do a bit of European travels in the summer. Been in contact with family in Sweden and they look forward to a vist.... and Nix, Adriana and myself might even go visit Natalie in Chile!!! Well, must be off.... it is Friday and I don't want to keep Nicky waiting by the river in the sun too long!!!!! Have a good week end!! K xxx
